A heritage at the click of a mouse

It is interesting to know that the Nativity Museum participates in the SIRBeC (Sistema Informativo Regionale dei Beni Culturali – Regional Information System for Cultural Heritage) project of the Lombardy Region for the documentation and digital cataloging of the historical-artistic heritage related to nativity art. This project contributes to making the knowledge and studies conducted by the museum accessible to a wider public and promotes the enjoyment of this important cultural heritage.

The first published studies concern a body of paper works and can be accessed directly through the website www.lombardiabeniculturali.it.
For each work, a cataloging sheet can be accessed.

This approach to digital cataloging is valuable for preserving and sharing the rich artistic heritage related to nativity art in the Lombardy region.
